At the International Space Station (ISS), a farewell ceremony was held with the Axiom-3 crew (AX-3), which includes Alper Goseravja.
The Turkish astronaut in particular said: “The first manned space expedition of Turkey is the beginning of history, not the destination.”
Axiom Space company conducted a direct broadcast of the farewell ceremony in honor of the AX-3 crew, which includes the Turkish astronaut of the Hezeravjs.
In his speech at the farewell ceremony, hezeravja noted: “For me, it is a great honor and happiness to make the first manned space flight in the new“ Turkish age ”, into which we entered as a continuation of our proud history.”
Goseravji wished that this mission has become an inspiring beginning for young people and the key to the success of the future: “It was a starting point, not a destination. Let the next stage be favorable for our whole people.”
