According to a new decree of the President Ilham Aliyev, activities in the field of state compulsory personal insurance of military personnel and the management of these insurance funds will be carried out by the State Public Protection of Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, HAQQIN.AZ has been told in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In accordance with the new law approved by the head of state, since the New Year, the ministry will begin the cardinal reforms in this field.
In the first stage, the implementation of the state compulsory personal insurance of military personnel on the basis of a cumulative principle with the creation of the accounting system will be organized. In this area will be ensured to improve administration, quality of services, satisfaction of citizens by applying innovative approaches.
From the New Year, the creation of an electronic infrastructure of the management and services for state mandatory personal insurance service will begin. This will create conditions for modern, optimal and flexible management in the field of activity, transparent and operational provision of servicemen in electronic form.
It will also eliminate such cases when servicemen in the process of obtaining insurance payments are faced with large loss of time and are forced to collect a large number of documents.
In order to ensure the timely and sustainable payment of insurance payments, insurance reserve will be created.
More efficient use of insurance funds will be one of the main priorities of reforms. The incomes received from the effective management of the specified insurance reserve will be aimed at the social protection measures for the families of Shekhid and persons who have disability due to war, improving household living conditions, providing rehabilitation tools and other support measures.
