From the beginning of the year, the population of the country increased by 13,945 people or 0.14 percent, reaching 10,133,078 people on May 1, 2021.
As reported by Haqqin.az in the State Statistics Committee, 53.0% of the total population are urban residents, 47.0% – rural, 49.9% – men and 50.1% – women.
