From January to November 2021, the country’s population increased by 33,696 people, or 0.3 percent, reaching 10,152,829 people on December 1, 2021.
As reported by Haqqin.az in the State Statistics Committee, 53.0% of the total population are urban residents, 47.0% – rural, 49.9% – men and 50.1% – women. One square kilometer in the country accounts for 117 people.
