The UK completed the evacuation of its diplomats and their families from Sudan covered by fierce clashes, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on Sunday.
“The British Armed Forces completed the complex and quick evacuation of British diplomats and their families from Sudan against the backdrop of a serious escalation of violence and threats that came to the embassy,” he wrote on the social network Twitter.
The British Prime Minister also called on the parties to “lay down the weapon and immediately introduce the ceasefire for humanitarian purposes.”
