Greek authorities reported plans to significantly increase the length of the wall on the border with Turkey, the Voice of America reports.
Also, according to data, the Greek government plans to request financial support from the EU for additional construction.
The Minister for Migration said that the length of the steel wall will be increased from 40 to 120 km. It is expected that construction work will begin in 2022.
