“Hamas congratulates the Muslim Afghan people with the defeat of the American occupation on all Afghan lands, as well as the Taliban movement and his courageous leadership with this victory, which has become the culmination of his long jihad for the past 20 years,” it is noted.
In the communiqué, the controlling sector of Gaza Islamists wish “Afghans and their leadership success towards achieving unity, stability and prosperity” of their country. “The fall of the occupation of the United States and their allies proves that the resistance of peoples, first of all, our struggling of the Palestinian people will be rewarded by the victory and achieve its main goals – freedom and return to their native foci,” the statement says.
