The Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatolla Chamenei, speaking to the residents of Tabriz, made a statement about the “nuclear program” of the country, reports IRNA.
He noted that the world is becoming more and more dependent on nuclear energy every day, and Iran sooner or later will also be in dire need of a peaceful atom.
“West knows that the Iranian Nuclear Program is peaceful, but politicians make absurd and meaningless statements that the official Tehran is close to the creation of an atomic bomb,” Chamenei said.
He added that Iran will be peacefully used nuclear energy.
“They know it, but want our people to face difficulties in the future, when it will need this energy,” the Supreme Leader of the country stressed.
