The judicial consequence of the criminal case of the former police officer Ismail Mamedov, accused of murdering his wife in the building of the 24th Police Department of the Nizami district in front of the children, is transmitted by the correspondent HAQQIN.az.
It is noted that the sentence was read in the process according to which Mamedov was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Civil lawsuit against the accused was partially satisfied. According to the sentence, 8 thousand manat will be charged with a total of accused in favor of the family.
Recall that the incident with the murder, which caused a serious resonance, occurred on September 30, 2021. Hanoy Mamedova, together with his aunt and two minors, went to the 24th police station of the Nizami district police department to complain about her husband. The woman told her husband – Sergeant of the Patrol Service of Ismail Mamedov – often beat her away. Having learned about this, the husband immediately came to the department and shot his young children to his wife from the tablet weapons. A woman who received 15 bullet wounds died in place.
