Head of Ministry of Justice of Turkey called on authorities of Switzerland to investigate provocation in Zurich

The Minister of Justice of Turkey Yilmaz Tunch called on the Switzerland authorities to immediate steps to investigate the provocation in Zurich, where the Turkish flag was previously burned at the office of one of the banks, and insults were announced to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“Switzerland’s authorities should quickly investigate the provocation, during which the propaganda of the terrorist organization took place, and in the very near future to be held accountable for all involved. Such provocations are unacceptable,” Tunch emphasized during the visit of the Bartin province.

The head of the Ministry of Justice recalled the sharply negative reaction of the Foreign Ministry of Turkey and the ruling party of the country to the trick of accomplices of terrorists in Switzerland. “Such provocations should not take place in the heart of Europe,” said Tunch.

He recalled the article of the 10th European Convention on Human Rights, according to which freedom expression does not apply to calls for violence. “Switzerland – as a European country, which has joined the European Convention on Human Rights, should not authorize such shares. Unfortunately, such shares also take place in other European countries,” said the Turkish Minister.
