The leader of Vagnerovtsev Evgeny Prigozhin unexpectedly praised the actions of the Ukrainian military, writes The Guardian.
On Tuesday, in his social networks, Prigozhin wrote about “heavy bloody battles” in the west of Soledar.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine with honor protect the territory of Soledar,” he said.
Separate Prigozhin said that information about the supposedly mass desertion of the Ukrainian military at Soledar is not true.
“Let’s be honest with us. The Ukrainian army bravely fights for Bakhmut and Soledar. Messages about their mass desertion are not true,” he wrote.
