Helped an Israeli journalist to get to Mecca: A Citizen of Saudi Arabia was arrested

The authorities of Saudi Arabia reported the arrest of a citizen of the country who helped Israeli journalist Gilya Tamari get to Mecca, writes Newsru.co.il.

According to the report, “the journalist who committed the crime will be engaged in the State Prosecutor’s Office of the Kingdom.” The General Security Service of Saudi Arabia notes that any foreigner entering the territory of the kingdom should respect his laws, especially with regard to holy places and religious ceremonies.

Earlier, the Israeli 13th ITV channel published a video of Tamari’s trip, which also has an American passport, to Mecca, despite the ban on visiting the city by non-Muslims.
