Hong Kong will only be observed by UN sanctions, said the head of the city of John Lee in response to a warning of the United States, writes Associated Press.
“We cannot do anything that does not have a legal basis, – did it say to reporters. – We will observe the sanctions of the UN, such is our system, our rule of law.”
Washington previously said that Hong Kong status as a financial center may suffer if he accepts Russian companies that are under Western sanctions. Russian companies are considering the city for opening offices in it.
