Hungary can replace Russian gas to Azerbaijani

It is impossible to find the replacement of Russian gas and oil in one day, Tamash Menzer, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, said on January 13, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary.

Having clarified that 85% of gas consumption in Hungary falls on supplies from Russia and that this value is 65% in oil, Metzers called several ways to replace Russian energy, including the purchase of gas from Azerbaijan.

Nevertheless, he noted, “it takes time and money for this, it will be necessary to change the infrastructure, so it is impossible to replace Russian gas at the moment.
