The former leader of the separatists of Donbass, retired officer of the Russian Army, Igor Strelkov (Girkin), accused the divisions from Chechnya in PR on the capture of the Ukrainian city of Popasnaya. According to Strelkov, contrary to the statements of the head of Chechnya, the Kadyrovites have nothing to do with the seizure of the settlement, they write “Caucasus. Realii”.
According to Strelkov, the porusky was taken without “any (except media) real participation of the Kadyrovites.” This information “Caucasus. Reali” was confirmed in the Chechen volunteer battalion fighting on the side of Ukraine. The interlocutor, who asked not to indicate his name, added that the Kadyrovites “not for the first time attribute to themselves the victories obtained by other invaders, which leads to discontent and irritation among the fighters of other Russian units.” According to him, several times this has already led to open conflicts.
