Ilgar Ragimov elected vice-president of International Sports Federation of Blind

President of the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan Ilgar Ragimov was elected vice president of the International Sports Federation of Blind (IBSA).

The reporting and election conference of this organization takes place these days in Jordan. Ilgar Ragimov as a candidate for the post of vice-president spoke about his platform, especially noting that in case of election, IBSA will promote the values ​​and make every effort to more fruitful cooperation between the Federation members.

Also, the NPK President of Azerbaijan spoke about the support of Paralympic Sports in our country, to attract the visually impaired people to sports, creating the necessary conditions for them, ensuring the work and solving other social problems. He reminded the holding of various competitions in Azerbaijan for blind and readiness to organize such tournaments and in the future.

After the speech, elections took place, and Ilgar Ragimov became the vice-president of IBSA.

Recall, the Paralympic team of Azerbaijan spoke triumphantly at the recent paralympiad in Tokyo, showing a fantastic result: 14 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.
