Ilham Aliyev creates an economic zone on border with Iran

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev October 4th on Monday signed a decree on the creation of an industrial park “Economic Zone of the Araza Valley”. The new zone will cover the territory of the Jabrail district.

In the industrial park, enterprises of industry will be created in the field of processing using modern technologies. At the initial stage, 500 thousand manat will be allocated for the creation of a park from the state budget for 2021.

According to the Decree, the territory liberated during the Karabakh war has predominantly plain relief, which creates favorable conditions for creating an industrial park. The opening of the border-customs pump point in the south of the economic district – in the direction of Bridges Hudaperin – will also ensure the efficiency of the bleated. In addition, the creation of a logistics center, various service and innovative industries, as well as building materials manufacturing enterprises in the Jabrail district will help to restore other liberated regions.

The Cabinet of Ministers is entrusted for two months to highlight 200 hectares of land near the village of Saltany Dzhabrail district.

The ceremony of the industrial park laying took place today in the Jabrail district with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev.

In addition, he took part in the bookmark ceremony in Dzhabrail the foundation of the Joint Service Center KAMAZ and Ganja Automobile Plant.

Aliyev also took part in the opening of a number of facilities: Substation “Jebel” and the complex of the military unit of the State Border Service.
