In July this year between Azerbaijan and the European commission signed a memorandum of understanding of strategic cooperation in the field of energy. On the basis of this memorandum, we intend to double the supply of gas to Europe by 2027. “
President Ilham Aliyev noted that this gas will pass through the territory of Albania, thereby providing additional support and contribution to the energy safety of Europe.

The southern gas corridor has been operating for almost two years.
