Today the whole world sees how strong Iranian-Azerbaijani friendship.
This was said by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the ceremony of putting into operation of the Hudaferin hydroelectric power plant and the opening of the Hyz Galasa hydroelectric complex, built on the Azraz River on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border. The event was attended by President Iran Ebrahim Raisisi.
Azerbaijani leader noted that the friendship of the two countries has deep roots and a deep story.
“For centuries, the Iranian and Azerbaijani peoples lived and created together, and today interstate relations built on this strong foundation, I believe, have reached the highest level,” the head of state noted.
According to him, Iranian-Azerbaijani Friendship, Brotherhood is an important factor in stability, strengthening security measures in the region in the future. “
“In all international organizations, organizations whose members we are, we support each other and will do this from now on,” the head of state emphasized.
The President noted that the opening of the Galasa hydroelectric complex and the commissioning of the Hudaferin hydroelectric complex are a historical event.
The Head of State expressed gratitude to all Iranian specialists and workers who took part in the construction of this giant facility.
