In Czech Republic revealed Indian strain Covid-19

Coronavirus strain, which was first discovered in India, appeared in the Czech Republic. This was announced on Saturday to journalists Minister of Health of the Czech Republic Peter Auxerberger.

This strain was identified in the city of Gladets-Klolov (East Czech Republic) from a student who arrived from India. Doctors adopted the necessary measures to curb the transmission of infection, the spread of which, according to the head of the Ministry of Health, was limited to sanitary-epidemiological measures in force in the country, including a temporary ban on full-time education in universities.

Previously, the indian version of the coronavirus was found on the territory of the UK, after which the country tightened the rules of entry from India. As on April 19, the head of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Matt Hancock was reported, at the moment British experts establish whether a new strain is more infectious or deadly compared to the initial genetic version of the new coronavirus, as well as how well the vaccines are protected.

In the Czech Republic, the population of which is 10.702 million citizens, the total number of coronavirus infected during the pandemic was 1,618,068. Of these, 1,524,041 became infected. 28,920 patients were died in the country with a disease caused by coronavirus infection.
