“DPR” and “LPR” are preparing to hold a referendum in May on joining the Russian Federation. Thus, Russia plans to establish full control over Donbass and Southern Ukraine, writes Medusa with reference to its sources.
The sources of the publication, which are close to the administration of the President of Russia, stated that on May 14 and 15, the LDNR may conduct a referendum to join Russia. It is assumed that they will join within the “historical” borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.
Also, the same dates of the referendum can be held in the Kherson region, which is occupied by Russian troops. They plan to endure the issue of independence of the region from Ukraine and the creation of the “Kherson People’s Republic”, which can also further join Russia.
