In Finland, they will begin to euthanize all animals at the animal farms in case of an epidemic of bird flu, local media reported with reference to the decision of the food security agency.

Earlier in August, Finland authorities decided to put up 135 thousand animals on farms, where cases of bird flu disease were identified, due to the threat of infection among people.

Among them are 50 thousand minks, 79 thousand foxes and 6 thousand raccoons.

Now it is planned to put up with another 115 thousand animals, which are a potential carrier of the virus.

In total, to this day, in the country, cases of infection with bird flu were recorded in 26 animal farms, in 11 of them all animals were killed, at five – only sick.
