In Georgia, they promise not to amnesty Saakashvili

The ex-president of the country Mikhail Saakashvili will not be amnesty, the authorities of Georgia promise. According to the chairman of the ruling party “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” Irakli Kobahidze, the Georgian parliament will not adopt the law on the amnesty of the politician.

“I give a promise to the Georgian society that the adoption of the amnesty law by parliament on the topic of Saakashvili is excluded,” Kobakhidze quoted the Georgian media.

According to him, “the amnesty law cannot be adapted to one specific person.”
