Russia will not be able to win against Ukraine, said German Finance Minister Christian Lindner, speaking at the Berlin Forum Global Solutions Summit, reports a correspondent.net.
Russians, says German politician, realized that they deal with the “other West”, because before that they could not even submit rigidity from which the West will respond to the invasion of Ukraine.
War, recognized Lindner, forced Europeans to understand that the greatest priority of politics should be the strengthening of protection. The same applies to the need to end the dependence on Russian energy carriers.
“There can be no illusions about Russia,” Lindner believes, assuring that the West will not undergo a blackmail of the Kremlin, in particular, in terms of the requirement to pay energy imports in rubles.
