Chairman of the Munich Conference on Security and a multi-year adviser to ex-Chancellor of Germany Angels Merkel on foreign policy issues, Christophe Hoysgen believes that Germany should support Ukraine in its attempts to return the Crimea.
“Crimea, of course, is part of Ukraine, and Ukraine has every right to conquer and return its territory … We must provide comprehensive support to Ukrainians, and if Ukraine can return Crimea, it must be supported,” Hoysgen said in an interview with Deutsche Welle .
