“In hands of NATOO USA”: Polish Premier about transfer of Kiev Polish MiG-29

The decision on the transfer of Ukraine Polish fighters of the Soviet production MiG-29 should be taken by NATO and the United States, said the Prime Minister of Poland Mateush Murezetsky.

According to Morrazetsky, Poland and NATO are not the parties to the current conflict in Ukraine: “Such a serious decision, as the transfer of aircraft, must be accepted by NATO. Now this decision in the hands of NATO, in the hands of Americans,” reports his words TASS.

“We deliver only defensive weapons,” the head of the Polish government assured. “We did not agree to supply airplanes to independently. This is an incredibly serious decision,” added Murezetsky, emphasizing that it could entail dramatic consequences.

According to him, Poland seeks to help Ukraine, but “without additional provocations, the steps that could exacerbate the situation.”

On Tuesday, the Polish Foreign Ministry said that the authorities of the republic are ready to immediately send all of its 28 MIG-29 fighters to Germany to the Ramstein airbase and transfer them to the United States. Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said that Washington did not consider the proposal of Warsaw about the transfer of military aircraft through the USA.
