The current President of Italy Sergio Mattarella re-elected for the second term during the voting at a joint meeting of both chambers of the republic’s parliament, reports TASS.
It is noted that the counting of votes was broadcast on the website of the Lower Chamber of the National Parliament. According to this calculation, Mattarella overcame the necessary threshold in 505 votes.
