This was stated on Friday by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a solemn meeting in the House of Russian Abroad named after Alexander Solzhenitsyn, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society (IPPO), writes TASS.

But the task of protecting Christians, especially Orthodox, is relevant not only for the Middle East and North Africa, but also for Europe, ”he said. However, as the minister emphasized, the West does not fulfill this task.
