Lavrov said that the latest events in the international arena dropped the west masks, which seeks to impose its order to the world.

“The latest international events dropped masks from those who still claimed to be almost the exclusive right to determine the so -called universal values under the sign of the order based on the rules,” the minister

Lavrov noted that supporters of this concept are trying to impose only the norms and mechanisms of interaction that are beneficial to them, replace the equal, honest dialogue with narrow coalitions, acting closed and appropriating the right to speak and act on behalf of the whole world.

At the same time, the United States and its allies leave no attempts to maintain elusive dominance and slow down the objective processes of forming multipolarity, the minister.

“They use economic instruments as weapons, through sanctions pressure, financial blackmail, are trying to influence the choice of development models and trading partners,” the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
