A earthquake of magnitude 4.9 was recorded on Friday in the northeast of Iran. This was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The epicenter of the elements was 45 km south of the city of Mashhead with a population of about 2.3 million people. The hearth lay at a depth of 8 km.
