On the territory of Romania, fragments of the drone were found that Russia uses for attacks on Ukraine.
This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Romania Angel Tilvar.
According to him, the fragments of the drone were found in the County of Tulcha on the border with Ukraine near the Danube River, which shares both countries.
“This fragment most likely belonged to the UAV used by Russia in attacks on Ukraine,” he said.
At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Defense Romania did not say when and where this drone could appear.
Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, a single case of this kind has been recorded in the territory of NATO members. In 2022, the rocket fell into the territory of Poland, as a result of which 2 people were killed.
Polish authorities reported that the rocket could belong to the air defense system of Ukraine.
