In Russia, they told “act of crazy barbarism” incident with IL-76 near Belgorod

Kyiv made an “act of crazy barbarism”, knocking down the IL-76 transport aircraft in the Belgorod region, and also called into question the possibility of any agreements. This statement was made by the Ambassador for Special Orders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation “on the crimes of Kyiv” Rodion Miroshnik.

“Kyiv committed an act of crazy barbarism, demonstrating complete neglect, to human life. They, having violated agreements, killed our pilots and escort fighters, and” put into the consumption of “their own fellow citizens,” wrote the Miroshnik in his Telegram channel.

The head of the State Duma Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, stated that the aircraft with Ukrainian prisoners of war could be shot down by the Armed Forces of the American anti-aircraft missile system Patriot, or German Iris-T.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the collapse of the IL-76 Air Force of the Russian Air Force in the Belgorod Region, on board of which there were 74 people.

On board the aircraft were 65 prisoners of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) transported to the Belgorod region for exchange, six crew members and three accompanying people, the department noted.

The causes of the disaster are officially not yet voiced.
