In six areas of Azerbaijan, “Gardens of Homeland” were created

Since 2021, the Red Hearts Foundation has been implementing the Garden of Homeland in the regions of Azerbaijan to perpetuate the memory of heroes who died during the first and second Karabakh wars. As part of the project, trees are planted in the areas in the number of shechids of each area. The project also aims to contribute to the improvement of the environmental environment of Azerbaijan.

This time the planting of the trees was supported by Paşa Holding in Masalla, Oguz, Naftalan, Udzara, Goycha and Geranboa. In total, 1280 trees of the genus Cyparis, Pine and Thui were planted, of which 250 in Masalla, 150 in Oguz, 50 in Naftalan, 200 in Udzhar, 280 in Goycha and 350 in Geranboa. Families of the Shahids, representatives of the district and city community, veterans, employees of Paşa Holding, Kapital Bank and the Red Hearts Foundation took part in the share of the trees. The action was supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the local executive branch.

“Gardens of the Motherland” break mainly in crowded places, parks and city centers. In total, 23 such gardens have already been created throughout the country. Trees care, watering them, and other necessary measures are carried out by local executive bodies and the Red Hearts Foundation.

Red Hearts was founded in December 2019 at the initiative of Kapital Bank employees. The organization, which currently carries out its activities as a fund, mainly provides assistance to orphanages, shelters and needy people.
