Incidence of COVID in world has declined

In February, 10.8 million cases of coronavirus infection were detected all over the world, which is almost two times less than in January. This is reported by TASS with reference to its own calculations.

It is also noted that in February a little less than 300 thousand deaths were registered due to a new disease – one and a half times less than a month earlier. However, the mortality from infection against the background of the decline in morbidity remained at the same level – 2.2%.

Although by the end of February the incidence on the planet as a whole dropped sharply, in some European countries they talk about another epidemic rise and introduce new restrictive measures. So, the beginning of the third wave is announced in Ukraine, Italy, Poland, Serbia and a number of other states.
