Iran successfully launched a launch vehicle, reports the Iranian agency Tasnim.
The Iranian Ministry of Defense noted that the launch of the rocket called Zoljani was carried out for scientific purposes. The department explained that the rocket has three steps: two – on solid fuel and one on the liquid.
Earlier in June, Western media reported with reference to satellite pictures that Iran is probably preparing to launch a rocket.
