The main intelligence administration of the Iranian province of Sistan and Belujistan arrested three persons who are allegedly operatives of Israeli intelligence Mossad, IRNA reports.
According to the prosecutor of the city of Zahedan, the administrative center of Sistan and Belujistan Mehdi Shamsabadi, there are a large number of serious evidence against the arrested, so they did not try to protest their detention. At this stage, investigative measures are ongoing, by the end of July the prosecutor’s office will prepare an indictment and send it to the court, he added.
It is noted that surveillance of operatives was carried out by local intelligence officers for several months. The accusation is convinced that the arrested were working to prepare attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists. In addition, the distribution of secret data also appears among the accusations. Work is underway to identify persons who can be involved in the leakage of closed information.
