Iran denies statement of Armenians about 160 Armenian servicemen on its territory

Embassy of Iran in Yerevan denied rumors about finding 160 Armenian military personnel on the territory of Iri.

The Iranian website Parstoday.com has published a statement by the Iranian Embassy in Yerevan about rumors circulating in Armenian media on holding 160 Armenian servicemen in Iran. The statement says:

“The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Armenia considers rumors that 160 Armenian soldiers are false and unreasonable in some Armenian media that 160 Armenian soldiers are in Iran, and the Iranian side submitted preconditions for their return.”

Recall that a number of Armenian media extends information that 160 Armenian soldiers crossed the Iranian border during the 44th day war.
