Iran: detainees were freed for criticism of authorities of football player and dissident

Iran’s authorities were released on the bail of a former football player Wuria Gafuri and the famous dissident Hossey Ronagi, detained during protests in the country. This is reported by AFP.

It is noted that the arrest of Gafuri caused indignation, since the Iranian team plays at the World Cup in Qatar.

Ronagi was detained shortly after the start of protests in mid -September. He announced a two -month hunger strike.
