The leader of the Harakat al-Nidal separatist group Khabib Farajolla Chaab was executed on Saturday morning in Iran. This was reported by Mizan Agency with reference to the press service of the judiciary Iri.
According to the IRI authorities, Chaab since 2005 headed the prohibited group “Harakat al-Nidal”.
As a result of the actions of this group, more than 450 Iranian citizens were killed or injured.
September 22, 2018, Harakat An-Nidal took responsibility for attacking a military parade in Ahhzy, as a result of which 25 people were killed, 60 were injured.
Chaab was captured by Iranian special services in the fall of 2020.
The Harakat al-Nidal group controls the Ahvazun television channel broadcasting in Arabic.
