Some Western countries seek to create disagreements between OPEC member countries. This was stated by President Iran Ebrahim Raisi at a meeting with the Secretary General of OPEC Haisam al-Gais in Tehran.
According to him, oil manufacturers should prevent the implementation of these goals by strengthening their cohesion.
Raisi said that Tehran intends to develop constructive cooperation with OPEC.
Haisam al-Gais, in turn, noted that Iran always acted towards strengthening the cohesion and unity of OPEC members.
He expressed hope for restoring stability in the oil market by consensus between OPEC members and in cooperation with Iran.
