Iran is optimistic, but will not be “naive”

Tehran is optimistic about the prospects for returning to a nuclear transaction during the negotiations in Vienna. This was stated by Deputy Head of Iran Ali Baghery, heading a delegation in consultations in the Austrian capital.

“We are optimistic about reaching an agreement. However, given the unpleasant background, associated with the opposite party, we will definitely not be naive,” the IRNA agency quotes.

According to Baghery, “constructive atmosphere reigns at the negotiation process.”

On Thursday, the next stage of negotiations was held in Vienna, in which the Islamic Republic submitted the parties a draft agreement on the resumption of a nuclear transaction in the form of two documents devoted to the abolition of US sanctions and issues on the atomic program.
