Iran’s tax service approved a resolution on exemption of taxes of individuals and legal entities for the import of foreign currency, including cash and money transfers.
This is reported by Tasnim.
According to the Tax Service circulator, any individual or legal entity can import any amount of banknotes into the country by declaring a currency at customs at the entrance.
In accordance with the Decree, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Economics and Finance, the police and other relevant institutions are required to take measures to facilitate the import of foreign currency.
The decision is valid until October 2023.
