Armenian safety is also Iran’s safety, Iran’s ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zokhuri said during a visit to the Syunik region (Western Zangesura). He is quoted by the Armenian media.
The ambassador claims that Iran with all the neighboring countries pursues a policy of developing cooperation in all directions.
“Armenia is our neighboring and friendly country. And the same policy is carried out in relation to Armenia. Iran’s position has always been respect for the independence and territorial integrity of all countries, including Armenia, in accordance with international laws,” Zokhuri assures.
Relations between Yerevan and Tehran are developing, according to Zohuri, in all directions. He expressed the hope that this would happen further.
