Iranian companies in the spring of 2023 will begin the construction of a 7.2-kilometer Kajaransky tunnel, which will provide year-round transport communication between Armenia and Iran. The relevant agreement was reached at a meeting of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, Mr. Sanosyan and the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran Rostam Gas.
The parties also discussed the possibility of the participation of Iranian companies in current construction processes and in tender processes in Armenia.
