Iranian writer received 10 years for demand of resignation of chamen

One of the signatories “Statement with the demanding of Hameni’s resignation” Abbas Vahedian Shahrudi was sentenced to 10 years in prison with the 4th branch of the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad, reports Hrana.

Writer, Teacher and Activist Abbas Vahedian Shahrudi was in custody from August of this year. He was accused of anti-state activities.

It is reported that the writer was among the 14th people who signed the “Resignation Statement of Ayatollah Hameni”.

It is noted that other persons who signed the statement were also detained and criminal cases have already been initiated against some of them.
