Iraq’s anti-terrorist service is ready to conduct an operation against the RSC if the Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani will give an appropriate order. So the head of the Department of Terrorism of Iraq Abdulvahap as -Saadi answered the question of the correspondent of “Anadlolo” whether the operation will be performed against the terrorist organization of the RSC in the north of Iraq.
“The anti -terrorist service is ready to fight with any terrorist organization. At the moment, we are ready to fulfill any task (operation against the RSC), if the commander in chief of the armed forces and Prime Minister will instruct,” Saadi said.
According to him, there are departments to combat terrorism in all cities of Iraq.
Commenting on the possible cooperation with the Peshmerg forces (Kurdish militia – approx. Anadol), associated with the Kurdish regional administration of Iraq (Territory), Saadi said that the regiment of the department for combating terrorism can be located in Erbil and Suleimania.
“We received 40 terrorists. We are closely coordinated with Erbil and Suleimania in current operations in the edges,” Saadi said.
