Anthrus from the branch of the Islamic State group killed about 30 civilians in Mali as a result of an attack this week on a city in an area covered by Burkin-Faso and Niger. This was reported by Reuters with reference to the coalition of pro -government militias.
In addition to the attack on local residents, the militants plundered shops and burned food supplies.
