In the light of the Iranian hunt for the Israelis opened in Turkey, the operational department of the General Staff of the IDF ordered that all the military personnel who are in the territory of this country immediately leave it. This applies to both contractors, including officers and “conscripts”.
Note that for travel to Turkey the military and so it was necessary to receive special permission. Now all these permits are canceled. Military personnel are forbidden even to fly to other countries through Turkey.
As previously reported, Iranian sabotage groups hunting Israelis were identified in Iran. It is known that the Turkish intelligence agencies spotted surveillance of Israeli tourists, they grabbed part of the saboteurs, the rest managed to slip away.
Yesterday, the Israeli national security headquarters increased to the maximum (fourth) level of threat to the Israelis in Istanbul, in the rest of Turkey the level remained the third. Israeli citizens are strongly not recommended to fly to this country without pressing necessity.
