Israel Prime Minister will stay in Russia because of Shabbat

In Sochi, 5-hour negotiations of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Israel, Naftaly Benneti, was completed, but the head of government will not be able to return to his homeland, the TASS reports.

“Due to the duration of the meeting of the Prime Minister, the Israeli delegation will stay in Russia and departs to Israel after the outcome of Shabbat,” the Office of Naftali Benneti says.

We note that in accordance with the Jewish tradition in Shabbat – from Sunset on Friday in the evening of Saturday – work is prohibited, so it is impossible to use transport, in particular flying on airplanes.
