Israeli authorities believe that Iran is involved in oil spill off coast of country

Iran is involved in a fuel oil spill off the Mediterranean coast of Israel in February. This opinion was made on Wednesday by the Minister of Ecology of the Jewish State Gila Gamliel. According to Reuters, the minister said the incident was being investigated as “terrorist”.

Tens of tons of fuel oil were dumped on the coast of Israel during powerful storms in mid-February. The environmental damage from pollution was assessed as catastrophic.

Israeli authorities suspected that a ship damaged by a storm off the Israeli coast was the source of the pollution.
